During Senior’s development of the new Cables Direct website, we have been working on several new dynamic callouts that really help the site to offer its visitors an improved experience.
One of the new callouts is the popular products callout.
This is displayed as a JQuery carousel and products are added to it based on sales information, so the products that attract the most business will be displayed in this callout and visitors to the will see an automatically rotating carousel that can also be user controlled just in case a visitor glances a product and would like to go back to it without having to wait for it to come back around again.
The other major callout added is the recently viewed products callout which will show visitors the products that they have browsed recently. This callout will prevent visitors having to hit the back button if they decide they want to take a second look at the product or purchase it.
These new callouts will be added as part of the always expanding Senior Store product suite and integrates with Senior’s in house River CMS.
